Via the design engineers and sharing concepts with the customer a design has been created that overcomes the problem and has given a fail safe unit for both original equipment fit and aftermarket supply.

Niche Vehicle manufacturer

A new customer came to Clydesdale Engineering and presented a catalogue of products that need manufacturing. These included press parts, welded parts and fully fabricated parts using a combination of skills and processes. The main problem the customer faced was the traditional tooling cost that would be associated with press tools and robotic welding. Clydesdale Engineering reviewed the parts, made recommendations to the client, and as a result redeveloped 90% of the product to products that required minimal tooling. With the help of Clydesdale Engineering sister company Accles and Pollock complex fabrications have been developed and now in series production
